In this story, two boys spend their lifetimes looking for a home where they will feel comfortable. Although very different, they become friends as young teenagers and while their paths to adulthood wind around each other, they end up together, making a unique family of themselves and Claire, a woman who is also looking for love. Together, they make a child, a home and a business, ignoring most of the strictures of a “normal” family. While their relationships are unusual, their pursuit of happiness and belonging is universal. The cast of the motion picture reads the novel, giving a depth to the story it might not have had with one narrator. Readers include Colin Farrell, Dallas Roberts, Blair Brown, Jennifer Van Dyck. Nola Theiss, Sanibel, FL.

A–Recommended for advanced students and adults. This code will help librarians and teachers working in high schools where there are honors and advanced placement students. This also will help extend KLIATT’s usefulness in public libraries.
